Yes. All of our rosemary plants are grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, making culinary varieties safe to harvest straight to the kitchen. Yes. Rosemary is a perennial in mild climates (USDA zones 7–11) — essentially a long-lived shrub that grows larger and more productive every year. In colder climates it is often grown as an annual or overwintered indoors in a sunny spot. It's one of the most long-lived herb plants you can grow in the right climate. Rosemary needs full sun — at least 6 hours of direct sun per day, and more is better. It's a Mediterranean plant that thrives in heat and good drainage. The most important thing is to avoid wet feet — rosemary dislikes consistently moist or waterlogged soil and will decline quickly in poor drainage. We stand behind every plant we ship. If your rosemary arrives damaged, send us a photo within a few days of delivery and we'll arrange a free replacement.
