FAQs

What does "organic" mean for your herb plants?

All of our herb plants are grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. That means you can harvest directly from the plant for cooking without worrying about chemical residues.

Which herbs are available as organic plants?

Any of our 2" seedlings are grown organically. Our organic herb selection includes mint, sage, thyme, lavender, and more, with new varieties rotating through regularly. Browse the full selection above to see what's currently available.

Can I harvest from my herb plant right after it arrives?

Yes. Your herb plant arrives as a live, actively growing plant — you can start harvesting light amounts shortly after it settles in. Let it establish for a week or two before heavy harvesting to give the roots time to adjust.

Are organic herbs harder to grow than conventional ones?

Not at all. Organically grown herbs are just as robust as conventionally grown plants — often more so, since they're adapted to growing without chemical inputs. Standard watering and sunlight is all most herbs need.

What if my organic herb plant arrives damaged?

We stand behind every plant we ship. If your herb arrives damaged, send us a photo within a few days of delivery and we'll arrange a free replacement.
