FAQs

What basil varieties do you carry?

Are your basil plants organically grown?

Yes. All of our basil plants are grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, making them safe to harvest straight to the kitchen.

How do I keep basil growing strong?

Basil thrives in full sun and warm conditions — at least 6 hours of direct sun per day. Pinch off any flower buds as they appear to redirect energy into leaf production and keep the plant from going to seed. Water regularly but avoid waterlogged soil. Consistent harvesting from the top encourages a bushy, productive plant.

Can I grow basil in a container?

Yes — basil is an excellent container plant. A pot on a sunny windowsill or patio can keep you in fresh basil all season. Use a quality potting mix with good drainage, give it full sun, and water consistently. A larger pot (at least 6–8 inches) gives the roots room to grow and extends the harvest window.

What if my basil plant arrives damaged?

We stand behind every plant we ship. If your basil arrives damaged, send us a photo within a few days of delivery and we’ll arrange a free replacement.
