Hederaceum Philodendron

Philodendron ‘Hederaceum’, commonly known as the Heartleaf Philodendron, is a timeless tropical plant prized for its glossy, heart-shaped leaves and vigorous climbing habit. Native from Mexico through tropical Central and South America, this adaptable plant grows naturally as a climber when given support.

The thick, shiny foliage emerges dark green and gradually matures to deeper green-brown tones, adding richness and texture over time. Indoors, it performs beautifully as a trailing plant or trained upward on a moss pole or trellis.

Philodendron ‘Hederaceum’ thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers evenly moist soil with good drainage. Higher humidity encourages lush growth, and occasional misting helps maintain healthy foliage. Like all philodendrons, it is toxic if ingested and should be kept away from pets and children.
