‘Bush Delicata’ is a compact, high-performing All-America Selections winner known for its exceptional flavor and space-saving growth habit. Sometimes called sweet potato or peanut squash due to its shape, this variety produces beautiful, oblong winter squash with outstanding culinary quality.

The fruits weigh 1.5–2 pounds and feature smooth, sweet, nutty flesh with notes of butter and brown sugar. The skin begins creamy white with green stripes and flecks, curing to a light yellow with green striping as it matures.

Plants have a compact, semi-vining habit that spreads 4–6 feet, making them ideal for smaller gardens while still delivering generous harvests. ‘Bush Delicata’ matures quickly in about 80 days and shows good tolerance to powdery mildew.
