About this Plant
Lavandula ‘Davy’s Love’ is a deeply meaningful and exceptionally fragrant lavender with a powerful story and outstanding garden performance.
This evergreen shrub is a superior local selection originating from the Drew Family Ranch in Calistoga, where it has been grown for over 30 years. It flowers twice per year and is especially rich in essential oils, making it ideal for aromatic gardens, pollinator habitats, and culinary or herbal use.
‘Davy’s Love’ produces vibrant purple blooms from spring through fall and forms a large, structural shrub with excellent tolerance to drought, coastal conditions, deer, gophers, and even fire. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds are strongly attracted to its flowers.
This variety was named in memory of Davy, the son of the grower who shared it with us, and in his honor, $0.50 from every plant sold is donated to Okizu.org, supporting children affected by childhood cancer.
Best grown in full sun with dry, well-drained soil, this lavender is a lasting, meaningful addition to landscapes, herb gardens, and pollinator plantings.
Organically grown and shipped with care—ready to bring beauty, fragrance, and purpose to your garden.
