Daydream Dreameria Sea Thrift (Armeria pseudarmeria 'Daydream') is a modern breeding breakthrough that brings oversized blooms and a massive flowering window to the classic Sea Thrift. This variety produces large, globe-shaped flower heads in a beautiful shade of soft, rosy pink that "float" above a tidy mound of grass-like evergreen foliage. Unlike older varieties, the Dreameria series is bred to bloom continuously from early spring all the way through frost.
As a robust member of the Armeria genus, 'Daydream' is exceptionally heat and drought tolerant, making it a star performer in rock gardens or coastal landscapes. It is a favorite for bees and butterflies and makes an excellent, long-lasting cut flower.
