About this Plant
Nepeta ‘Junior Walker’ (Catmint) – A compact, aromatic pollinator favorite.
Nepeta ‘Junior Walker’, a sterile dwarf form of the well-known ‘Walker’s Low’, grows as a dense mound of gray-green, aromatic foliage. From summer through fall, it is topped with showy spikes of lavender-blue flowers that attract bees, butterflies, hummingbirds—and even cats.
This 4-inch perennial herb is drought tolerant and resistant to deer and gophers, making it a low-maintenance choice for borders, rock gardens, cut flower plantings, low hedges, and edging. Its long bloom season and compact growth habit make it ideal for cottage and pollinator gardens.
Maturing at 12–18 inches tall and 24–36 inches wide, it thrives in sun to part shade with moderate to dry watering. Hardy in USDA Zone 5. (PP# 23,074)
A fragrant, easy-care Catmint that delivers months of color and attracts a wide range of pollinators.
