Collection: Oregano Plants for Sale

Oregano plants for sale, shipped as live, organically grown plants ready to pot up or plant the day they arrive.

Oregano is a workhorse herb that’s as much at home in the garden as in the kitchen. Culinary oregano is the backbone of Italian and Mediterranean cooking, delivering deep, earthy flavor that intensifies as the leaves dry. Ornamental varieties offer attractive foliage and work well in borders and containers. All of our oregano plants are grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers and are drought-tolerant once established.

FAQs

What oregano varieties do you carry?

We carry culinary oregano for cooking as well as ornamental varieties. Browse the full selection above to see what’s currently in stock — availability rotates as new varieties come in.

Are your oregano plants organically grown?

Yes. All of our oregano plants are grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, making them safe to harvest straight to the kitchen.

Is oregano a perennial?

Yes. Oregano is a hardy perennial in most climates — it dies back in winter and returns reliably in spring. In very cold climates it may need some protection, but it’s one of the more winter-hardy culinary herbs. In mild climates it’s evergreen and provides year-round harvest.

Can oregano grow in containers?

Yes. Oregano does very well in containers with full sun and good drainage. It’s drought-tolerant once established and relatively low-maintenance. Good drainage is the most important factor — oregano dislikes wet feet and will suffer in waterlogged soil.

What if my oregano plant arrives damaged?

We stand behind every plant we ship. If your oregano arrives damaged, send us a photo within a few days of delivery and we’ll arrange a free replacement.
