Queeny Formula Mix Zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Queeny Formula Mix', syn. 'Queen Mix') is a gloriously full-petaled, double and semi-double zinnia blend in a rich, harmonious palette of warm and cool tones — deep burgundy, rose-pink, coral, cream, gold, and soft lavender — all on the same plant style and in the same controlled, garden-ready proportion. The Queeny series is prized for its excellent branching habit, strong stem production, and an exceptional vase life that makes these among the finest and most rewarding zinnias for both garden display and cut flower harvest. Large, dahlia-like flower heads are produced in profusion from early summer through hard frost on vigorous, upright plants that grow more floriferous as the season progresses.

Cultivated from Professional Grade root systems with an organic heritage, Queeny Formula Mix delivers the full sensory richness of a classic cutting garden in a single versatile planting. Its strong stems, abundant blooms, and exceptional heat tolerance make it the cornerstone of any summer cut flower bed, and its mixed-palette charm brings the kind of relaxed, jewel-toned abundance to garden borders that professional floral designers spend years trying to achieve. Bees, butterflies, and beneficial insects flock to the blooms throughout the peak summer season in a constant, life-filled pollinator spectacle.

    Why You'll Love It

    • Jewel-Toned Mixed-Palette Double Blooms: Large, dahlia-like double and semi-double flower heads in a rich, harmonious mix of burgundy, rose-pink, coral, cream, gold, and lavender deliver sophisticated, jewel-toned color abundance from early summer through frost — a palette that looks equally spectacular in the garden and in a vase.
    • Premier Cut Flower Performance: Strong, upright stems and exceptional vase life make Queeny Mix one of the finest zinnia selections for the home cut flower garden — harvest blooms regularly to enjoy abundant fresh bouquets throughout the entire summer season.
    • Non-Stop Heat-Powered Bloomer: Thrives in intense summer heat and blooms more abundantly as temperatures rise — a tireless warm-season performer that accelerates in midsummer precisely when other annuals begin to flag and fade.
    • Outstanding Pollinator Garden Value: Abundant, nectar-rich double blooms attract monarch butterflies, swallowtails, painted ladies, bees, and beneficial insects in spectacular numbers throughout the summer season — a premier planting for pollinator and wildlife-friendly garden designs.
    • The More You Cut, The More It Blooms: Regular harvesting of blooms for fresh bouquets stimulates prolific new bud set throughout the season — making this one of the most rewarding and responsive cut-and-come-again garden annuals available.

These 2" healthy live seedlings thrive in full sun — at least 8 hours of direct sunlight daily — in well-draining, fertile soil enriched with organic compost. Water consistently at the base; avoid wetting foliage to reduce the risk of powdery mildew. A heat-loving warm-season annual: transplant outdoors after all danger of frost has passed and temperatures are consistently warm. Approximately 60–70 days to first full bloom from transplant. Does not tolerate frost. Deadhead or harvest blooms regularly to maximize continuous flower production throughout the season. Space plants 12 inches apart for good air circulation, which helps prevent powdery mildew in humid climates.
