This 4" healthy live plant thrives in full sun to part shade with low to moderate water and sharp, excellent drainage — So Saxy Rose Saxifrage requires good air circulation and does not perform well in hot, humid conditions or consistently wet soils. A cold-hardy alpine perennial suited to USDA Hardiness Zones 5–8. Mature height reaches 4–8 inches with a spread of 8–12 inches. Primary bloom time is spring to early summer (March–June). In warmer climates, site in a location with afternoon shade to protect from heat stress during summer.
