Moroccan Daisy forms a low mound of finely cut, silvery foliage, and in fall and winter it covers that mound with white daisies centered in yellow.

It shines in a rock garden, a gravel bed or along a dry, sunny path, and the silver leaves keep it handsome between flushes of bloom. It also suits the edge of a container. Plant it in full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil, water moderately, and let the soil dry between waterings; it is drought tolerant once settled. Pair it with blue-gray grasses or dark-leaved plants that set off the silver.

Design note: Its cool-season bloom makes it a welcome sight when most daisies are done for the year, so plant it somewhere you pass often in winter.
