This 4" healthy live plant thrives in full sun with low to moderate water and excellent drainage — Emerald Cushion Blue Creeping Phlox does not tolerate poorly drained or consistently wet soils and will decline in heavily shaded locations. A cold-hardy, long-lived perennial groundcover suited to USDA Hardiness Zones 3–9. Mature height reaches 4–6 inches with a spread of 18–24 inches. Primary bloom time is early to mid spring (March–May). Trim lightly after blooming to maintain a compact, tidy cushion habit and encourage dense regrowth through summer and fall.
