Diana Cuphea (Cuphea FloriGlory 'Diana') is a compact, heat-loving shrubby perennial from the celebrated FloriGlory Series, prized for its prolific production of vivid magenta-pink tubular flowers that attract hummingbirds and pollinators with irresistible intensity. The dense, mounding habit is blanketed in small, glossy green leaves that serve as a perfect backdrop for the continuous flush of bright blooms from spring through fall. Part of the FloriGlory breeding program, 'Diana' offers improved vigor, enhanced flower coverage, and outstanding performance in hot, humid garden conditions — making it one of the finest Cuphea selections available for modern landscapes.

These Professional Grade 4" plants are grown to the highest nursery standards, producing robust root systems that establish quickly and deliver reliable bloom performance throughout the growing season. Diana Cuphea excels in full sun with well-drained soil and is highly tolerant of heat and humidity — thriving in conditions that challenge many other flowering shrubs. It performs beautifully in mixed borders, patio containers, pollinator gardens, and hummingbird-focused plantings.

  • Non-Stop Magenta-Pink Blooms: Prolific tubular flowers in vivid magenta-pink blanket the plant continuously from spring through fall, providing season-long color and outstanding visual impact in the garden.
  • Hummingbird & Butterfly Magnet: Tubular flowers are perfectly shaped for hummingbird feeding, making Diana Cuphea an essential addition to hummingbird gardens and wildlife-friendly landscapes.
  • Superior Heat & Humidity Tolerance: Bred for outstanding performance in hot, humid conditions — thrives through summer heat and continues blooming long after less heat-tolerant plants have faded.
  • Compact, Tidy Mounding Habit: Dense, well-behaved mounding form stays attractive throughout the season with minimal pruning, making it ideal for front-of-border planting and mixed container arrangements.
  • Low Maintenance & Long-Blooming: Requires no deadheading to maintain continuous bloom production — simply plant in full sun, water regularly until established, and enjoy months of vibrant color with minimal intervention.

These 4" healthy live plants thrive in full sun with well-drained soil. Water regularly until established, then reduce to moderate watering. Tolerates heat and humidity exceptionally well. In frost-free climates (Zones 9–11) Diana Cuphea performs as a perennial; in cooler climates treat as a heat-loving annual. Mature height 18–24 inches with a spread of 18–24 inches. Blooms spring through fall. Light trimming in early spring encourages fresh, vigorous new growth.
