Directions

  1. In a pot, boil the ginger, turmeric, and cinnamon for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Add the black pepper and coconut oil, then let it simmer for a moment.

  4. Pour the turmeric water into your mug and stir.
  5. For an optional boost, add a shot of whiskey or bourbon and a touch of cayenne.
  6. For a creamier texture, stir in a bit of coconut milk before adding the cayenne.
