Flacca Carex

Carex flacca, also known as Blue Sedge or Carex glauca, is a low-growing, mat-forming ornamental grass valued for its soft blue-green foliage and spreading habit.

This grass-like perennial forms a dense ground cover that spreads slowly by non-invasive rhizomes, making it ideal for rock gardens, pathways, borders, and areas that receive light foot traffic.

Carex flacca is deer resistant, bog tolerant, and adaptable to a wide range of garden conditions. It thrives in sun to part shade and prefers moderate to dry moisture levels once established.
